Al-Med Agencies® was established as a pharmaceutical distribution company in 1985. We are one of the most successful pharmaceutical distribution companies in the Kashmir region and deal with top-notch pharmaceutical companies of India which include Novartis, Torrent, Elder and Blue Cross Labs.

Our connection to the pharmaceutical trade started way back in 1951 when our father, Late Gh. Hassan Zawar, spotted a window of opportunity to serve the society and opened a pharmacy. Given the lack of pharmacies and dispensaries during those times, our pharmacy was extremely popular and renowned for it is efficient service and authenticity of its products.

With this reputation, decades of experience and inspiration from our father, Al-Med Agencies® was started in 1985 as a small wholesale pharmaceutical distribution company. We started off with being the authorised distributors of few companies and are now the authorised distributors of some major pharmaceutical companies of India.
Over the years, we have diversified our business to serve our customers and the society in a broader spectrum and as such, besides pharmaceutical products, cardiology implantable and disposable devices have been added to the portfolio. We are the authorised dealers for the Boston Scientific, USA in Kashmir.

Our office is located in the heart of the business area of the City, Regal Chowk. All the major establishments, government as well as private, are in the vicinity of our office. World famous Dal-lake is just about 5 minutes drive away from our office.
